The restaurant had a nice view, and the breakfast was very testing! I came for 3 days and ended up staying 12. Good location, very clean, friendly staff, and a comfortable room with a/c and hot water.

There’s a restaurant on site, though I haven’t eaten there during any of my stays. I keep coming back because it’s efficient and affordable. This is my third time here, and the place is central to the main town area and the port.

We booked through Agoda and stayed for 5D4N. The stay was peaceful and uneventful, and the location worked well for getting to the municipal hall, restaurants, and dive shops. Payment on Agoda can be by cash, gcash, or cc, but at the hostel they only take cash or gcash. Breakfast isn’t included, though their restaurant serves it from 7 to 9 am. We didn’t try it because there are lots of options outside. They also have dinner, including rice meals. The room wasn’t ready when we arrived after 5 p.m., so we had to wait even though it was already late for check-in. There was construction during the day and it could get loud enough to ruin plans to sleep in. Our first room was bigger, but its aircon flooded the floor. They moved us to a corner room with an AC that didn’t leak, but it kept switching off at night and waking us. Apparently the settings can be fixed with the remote. You can choose whether to have the room cleaned. We skipped cleaning because we were out most of the day and only came back to sleep and rest. They warned us about mosquitoes outside, so we kept the door shut at night and didn’t have a problem. They arranged a van pickup back to the airport for us, with the fee paid directly to the driver. Hangers are provided. We thought about drying clothes outside the room, but with construction in the morning and people seeming to be around at night, we didn’t risk it. Although the hostel calls itself a dive resort, it only refers guests to a dive centre and doesn’t have its own dive shop, facilities, or staff. They can also refer you and help book island hopping. There’s a small reception office for bookings, and staff were still around when we checked in late, around 5pm.

They got my booking wrong. There should’ve been two beds, but they only had one and brought in a mattress to put on the floor. This isn’t a hostel.
