The breakfast was great, which is why I’d give the service four stars, but there were too many other problems for us to choose Coron Soleil Garden again after nearly a week. Our room by the pool shared an interior door with the neighboring room, so we could hear everything. We heard every word people said, and even a neighbor vomiting during the night was a regular occurrence. When we raised it at reception, they told us all the rooms were connected this way. The minibar was nearly emptied, but it wasn’t restocked before we left. I asked for extra shampoo and was told I could pay for it, but nothing came of that. The hotel is among the farthest from town, next to a shooting range, so gunshots in the evening were normal. The restaurant door was dirty every day on both sides, while a staff member seemed to just stand there opening it for people. I also saw people watching reels on their phones instead of doing something. It felt like paying for inefficiency.

We were only there briefly, but the staff at Soleil Garden Resort were friendly, attentive and easy to approach. In our first room the air con wasn’t cooling properly, and they moved us to another right away without any fuss. The restaurant staff were cheerful each time we ate there, which gave me the impression the hotel takes good care of its team. The rooms were very clean and the facilities well maintained. It’s about a five-minute trike ride to the city proper, so exploring was convenient. Keep up the good work, and I hope you get more guests!

It was quiet and easy to unwind in the neat, cozy room. Everything was clean and looked well cared for, and the soft bed made for a good night’s sleep. The air con took a while to cool things down, though it wasn’t a major issue. A comfortable stay, and I’d gladly come back. Thank you. Gracias!

After a long trip from Palau to Manila and then Coron with hardly any rest, the comfortable beds made a real difference and helped us recover. Staff were kind, attentive and eager to help from the moment we arrived. Breakfast was a highlight, with small changes to the buffet each day and a good mix of Western and Filipino food. The made-to-order omelettes were especially good. The pool area was a pleasant place to relax. The hotel is about a 20-25 minute walk from the main downtown restaurant area, but tricycles are easy to find and inexpensive, around 30 pesos per person to the center. We had a comfortable, welcoming stay and would happily recommend it.

The villa room was spacious, clean and lovely, and the restaurant food was so good that we looked forward to trying another dish each time. The Wi-Fi could have been faster and more reliable, but with so many good things about the stay, it didn’t bother us much. This was a surprise trip for my partner, and the team made it special with a birthday cake and room setup, an anniversary setup, and great arrangements for tours. Mark, Rana and Nel, your kindness and help touched us deeply. We chose Coron for these celebrations, and you made the experience unforgettable. When rain made a sea trip impractical, the hotel was a wonderful place to relax. I’d thought it was far away, but it was only about 5-10 minutes by tuk tuk, around 30 per person. This was the best stay outside my own home across all my travels. I can’t thank you enough.
