The studio was clean and had a comfortable bed, air conditioning, a fan, kettle, cups, glasses, plates, cutlery, and complimentary bottled water on arrival. There’s a closet with a lock, though it may feel small for two people since it has no shelves and only a few hangers. The curtains don’t block the light, so bring a sleep mask if that bothers you. The location is quiet at night, and for finding the apartment, use the gasoline station as a landmark because Google Maps isn’t accurate. Look for the brown metal door and corridor, the room is at the end. It’s on a lively street with shops and sari sari. The port where tours leave is a few minutes away on foot, as is the main street with plenty of dining and bar options. There’s a big supermarket for groceries, but no fresh fruit or vegetables there. For those, go to the main street a few minutes away. It closes at 17:00. The sari sari just outside the door sells big bottles of water for later days and closes around 20:00/21:00. Berber was great at providing information and assistance, and communication was excellent. Staff can arrange tours, with prices better than the ones I saw advertised at tour agencies. They can also organize airport pickup and help you find a tuk tuk to the ferry port if needed. The bathroom has hot water, but the water system is a little tricky and the supply is limited. Use the button to turn the water on, then switch it off after use or you may have to wait before using it again. There’s enough for a long shower and washing your hair, though two people could run short. The toilet flush works the same way. I’d fill the biflg bucket as a reserve for flushing, washing hands, or dishes. I highly recommend this accommodation, especially if you’re traveling solo.
