This place is a humble base camp, right in the middle of everything. The staff were great, spoke English, brought me bottles of water, and gave me a clean towel when I needed one. I left my belongings in the room and they were safe. For me, the key things in the P.I. are hot water, a clean room and bed, AC, somewhere safe for your things, and a safe area. This place covered those basics. The room isn't fancy, and I wouldn't come here to watch TV since the signal was bad. I'd stay again in a heartbeat. If I were travelling with a partner who wanted a nicer place, maybe not, it's pretty simple.

The rooms are very small, but we only needed somewhere to sleep, so that was fine. The AC works really well, and the price and location are good. The bed is just 3" of foam, though not too bad. Breakfast costs extra, must be ordered the night before, and had very few options, so we passed. A good choice if you're looking to stay in the area.

The rooms were spacious and neat, and the heaters, AC, and cable TV all worked well. Staff were very accommodating, and they let us borrow utensils. I would suggest adding more breakfast choices and putting mosquito lights on the terraces, since people like to drink there at night.

For our 3 nights, this guesthouse felt like home in coron. It's in a very convenient spot near the market, boat station, eateries, and fancy restaurants. They provide the basic things you need, including cable TV, WiFi, guest drinking water, a generator for power interruptions, an ensuite bathroom, towels, and soap. They can also arrange tours, airport pickup, and breakfast. I highly recommend it.

From Palanca Guest House, it's a short walk to the beach, pier, restaurants, and dive shops. Coron is known for its ship wrecks, so it's a Mecca for wreck divers, and Palanca puts you right in the middle of things. It's a little cozy 3 star hotel in the heart of Coron Palawan, Philippines. There's no pool or special service or amenities, but the friendly staff more than make up for that. Recommended.
