Jai-cob's Suites

We stayed 6 nights as a couple in a Queen Deluxe room and found it good value. The hotel’s central location put restaurants, pharmacies, and marts within walking distance, which saved us transport costs. We booked island tours and a motor rental through the hotel, and the staff were very nice, attentive, and happy to answer questions or offer suggestions. Our room on the 3rd floor met our needs. The pillows were big and comfy, the shower heater worked well, water pressure was okay, and there was a TV. A water dispenser with hot and cold water was in the corridor, and the elevator was handy. The generator meant power cuts weren’t a problem. We could hear people talking in the next room. Free breakfast choices were limited to Filipino dishes, though coffee and milo were free. It would be nice to have tea too. No room slippers were provided. Housekeeping only came in with our permission, which was fine. We’d consider staying again.

I spent 25 days traveling in Thailand and the Phillipines and stayed in 6 different hotels. This one was far and away the best. For the price, all the lovely little details were unbelievable. The staff were always friendly and helpful. At other places I paid more and still didn’t get what I got here. Fantastic place, 100 % recomendation. I’ll definitely come back. The only real issue for us was the bunk bed setup. The air conditioner faced the top bunk, so sleeping with it on meant the person up there would freeze. Apart from that, it was one of the best places we stayed :) The hotel is handy if you want to be in the middle of everything, and the staff were friendly. Rooms were fine, depending on which one you book, I guess. Laundry is available for 250 pesos. They offer breakfast too, though we didn’t try it.

Maebelle was friendly and helpful the whole time, sorting out tour bookings, activity gear rentals, a bike rental, and even a tuk-tuk for our early morning ferry. That made everything so convenient. The room was small but comfortable, just right for a couple of days. The location on the main road was excellent, with restaurants, cafés, and ATMs close by.
