Screaming Gecko Hostel Air-Con

Haya at reception made my stay at Screaming Gecko feel easy from the minute I arrived. She was welcoming, helpful, and full of good energy, with great tips for Coron too. Those little interactions stick with you. Thanks, Haya!

Joy was so kind and helped us arrange everything, including the airport transfer. There’s laundry with quick delivery if you need it, and it’s also easy to book tours around Coron and Palawan here. The hostel has a relaxed, friendly feel. After seeing a few other places, I thought the location was hard to beat: about a 30-second walk to the main street, with restaurants, shops, and a few ATMs. The property has lots of space and a lovely new pool. We had a great time at the pool party and fire show, with a big crowd that included locals, plus fun vibes and delicious traditional food.

We met the nicest family here and felt incredibly welcome. It was one of the best stays of our whole trip, maybe the best. A great place to book tours from, too.

It feels like staying in a house, with a garden and pool area that are really nice. The staff were lovely, and I liked the rooftop too, though it could use more frequent cleaning. Definitely the best hostel I’ve stayed at in the Philippines so far.
