Prim Travellers Inn

We spent four nights at Prim Travellers while going around the Philippines. The staff were friendly and accommodating, the outdoor area was nicely decorated and pleasant for hanging out, and our clean room had the essentials. The location was convenient, a short walk from the main town. They offer a lot, including bike rentals, tours, ferry bookings, laundry, and free breakfast, though breakfast was very sparse. It was an okay short stay for us as backpackers, but several things could be better. I had asked the hotel on Airbnb about construction after reading an earlier review and was told it was no longer an issue. The roadwork had finished, but a large hotel was still going up next door. There was morning noise, welding, and dust, so it was hard to leave clothes outside. We would have appreciated being told in advance. Airport transfer was listed as included, but we were charged 250 PHP, so future guests may want to check that. Reception sells beer, Coke, and water at reasonable prices, but they often didn't have the right change, which made buying drinks annoying. In the room, there were no outlets by the bed, and the only working one was halfway up the wall. The outlet by the TV didn't work, so we couldn't use it. Reception gave us an extension lead, but it didn't reach the TV. A bright light outside our window stayed on all night, and the blind barely blocked it. The power outlet inside the shower area, close to water, seemed potentially hazardous. The shower head also needed a thorough cleaning.

The inn was very clean and well maintained. Thanks for a great stay. I'd recommend it to family and friends.

A very convenient option, with helpful company and kuya. I think this company adds a lot of value to travel in Coron, Philippines.
