The kids will surely enjoy a family trip here, and the adults have space to hang out over drinks and freshly grilled food. The food isn’t included. We would have had an even better time if there hadn’t been a storm.

The day staff were very friendly, and the place itself is quiet, which made it a good place to rest. My room was large and clean, with a kettle and a small fridge, though there were no chairs or glasses. The air conditioning worked very well and was quiet too. There are lots of entertainment facilities and a large pool, so it may be noisier during the day. Arriving at night was stressful. Street access to the private parking was under construction, so it was impossible to get in, and I had to leave my motorcycle in a muddy, lit but unsecured area. The night watchman provided very little help. Even getting a cup to make coffee turned into a whole ordeal. Prices are reasonable. I booked through my Agoda account and got a good discount. I don’t know whether breakfast is available on site, since I couldn’t find out. I’d have liked to try the pool, but paying 250 php for just 15 minutes was out of the question. It seems like a pleasant place for a family holiday.

The rooms are clean, modern, and very nice, and the service was excellent. There’s a restaurant and room service, though the rates are a little on the high side. It’s best to bring your own food. The resort sits at the base of Mount Makulot, a popular hiking mountain. When I visited in February, it was windy and cold, and there are mostly water activities. It’s a good weekend getaway, with SM TAAL about a 30-minute drive away. I’d rate it 4.5 out of 5.

We got a room for six for around 5300 through Agoda, and you can borrow cookware. There’s no corkage for food or drinks. With all the pools and slides, plus statues as side attractions, it works really well for families and team building. They’re expanding too, so there should be more to enjoy.
