The dim lighting throughout the property made it feel gloomy and unwelcoming. We arrived around 11 PM as walk-ins because I couldn’t book ahead without a signal while traveling by sea. Staff told us my father and I were the only guests. Since there was only one single room free in each building, we agreed to stay in separate buildings. After I settled in, I heard what sounded like a faucet turning on and someone rinsing or washing in the next room. I went out to check, and the sound stopped when I returned. I asked the staff and checked with my father, and staff confirmed nobody was in that room. It left me very uncomfortable. I asked to move closer to my father and agreed to upgrade so we could be in the same building. By the time we got settled, it was around 1 AM. I still couldn’t sleep. During the night I kept hearing noises at the door, as though someone was checking it or trying to open it, and the room felt unsettling, almost as if I was being watched. I was anxious and extremely uncomfortable. At about 4 AM I went to take a bath, then fell asleep on a chair in the garden. In the morning, my father said he had gone to my room and knocked, but the door seemed locked from inside. He thought I was getting ready and waited downstairs, not knowing I hadn’t slept in the room at all. This was a very distressing first for me. I’m sorry, but that’s honestly how our stay went.

The room had working Wi-Fi and a great window view, and the welcoming staff provided good service. There was complimentary water and coffee, and the property is near the town center. It’s relatively cheap and could suit a short stay. The double room felt just big enough for one person, the bathroom smelled foul, and the air con was so loud that I didn’t sleep well. If that noise won’t bother you, it may be a good fit.

We spent four days here and would come back next time we’re in Coron. The staff deserve ten stars: they were friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. The rooms are simple, just somewhere to sleep since the fun is outside. We had no trouble with the air con or water, and were actually a little cold at night. Breakfast was a good, simple, balanced meal to start a day of exploring. There’s also a great little shop across the street with snacks, beer and motorbike rentals.

It was easy to relax because the staff could sort out so much for us. They could arrange tours, prepare an itinerary, or even cook if we gave them money for ingredients. They were very accommodating and would either have what we needed or offer to find it. The room was clean, comfortable and decent. The location is close to town and the boat pick-up point. A truly relaxing stay, and highly recommended.

The place and rooms were very clean, and the staff were friendly. Wi-Fi was okay, breakfast had choices, and there was a TV and hot shower. My single room was tiny, but it did the job. Bike parking is very limited. The airport van costs 250p each way, and the property is relatively close to everything. Recommended.
