Free parking is plentiful, the Wi-Fi was fast, and the inn sits right beside the public beach. Our room was clean and the furniture was well kept, with a cozy old-time feel, though we missed having a desk and extra chairs. The east-facing window also meant no view of the well-known Currimao Beach sunset, which was disappointing. We booked the last room online the day before our Christmas stay. It cost around 30% more than usual, which made sense during the holiday rush. The staff were attentive and worked hard to make us comfortable, so the hospitality made the price and smaller shortcomings easier to accept. A positive stay, with a few things that could be improved. I'd recommend it if you're after a warm welcome.

The staff were polite and friendly, the lobby and backyard looked neat, and the room's AC worked well. But the easy beach access isn't much of a plus when there's garbage all over the beach. The linens and towels smelled really old, and the bottom of the shower curtain was filthy. You also have to pay for ice and hot water, and the breakfast serving was tiny. I wouldn't recommend it.

The rooms felt expensive for what you get, with old, sunken beds, so I wouldn't recommend it if comfort and value matter to you. We also had to switch rooms because ours smelled smoky. The staff were polite and quick to respond to guest needs, perhaps because occupancy was fairly low, but management was very inflexible and inconsiderate about booking changes and cancellations. Plan carefully, especially if an emergency or a change within 24 hours might come up.

We arrived around 2 PM for a camping night and left at noon the next day. They supplied seven tents and the staff were polite and friendly, but I'd rate the stay only 4 out of 10. The entrance looked good, parking had enough space, and the plants and flowers made for nice photos. The big problem was the facilities: only two of the seven shower rooms were working, even with so many guests there, and there was no sink for washing food, plates, or utensils.

My family of six came in to book one night, but the room was unbearably hot. Staff turned on the AC, yet after waiting 20 minutes it still wasn't cooling down. The lobby felt cooler with all the fans running. We asked for a refund and were told to wait while the manager or owner decided. They offered three rooms, but each had the same ineffective AC, with fans added. We chose not to stay. After three hours, they said they would refund us minus a 15% cancellation fee. I asked where that was written, but nothing in the policy or guidelines we saw stated it. The staff kept saying the room would cool if we waited another 15 minutes, even after we'd already waited. In the end, the refund took another 10 minutes to sort out.
