The friendly, accommodating people and good food made this a really nice stay. We had fun here with my co-workers and superiors, and the service and hospitality were lovely. johandive and resort on Malapascua Island is a good place to stay if you want to be near the sea and enjoy the sunrise or sunset. 😊💙

The boat crews and dive leaders were very nice, but the manager and owner handled the crisis badly. On our third day, there was news about an approaching storm. The manager waited until 7 a.m. to tell us, when we were already prepared and ready to dive, so we had to pack right away and return to Cebu. The manager showed no empathy and didn’t even speak with our crew about what was happening. We asked for a partial refund, but the manager couldn’t decide and kept saying to wait for the owner’s command. I definitely don’t recommend this center. Poor service and management, with no decision making. These were the worst dives I’ve ever experienced, here at Johan!

Our diving master, Dandan, made the stay especially fun. He was funny and professional, and took us to lots of small animals and good spots. The resort looked after everyone well, with nice food, a clean room, and friendly staff. I’d highly recommend staying here when you visit Malapascua.

The clear beach and sunshine make this a peaceful spot to relax. Johan dive shop and resort is a lovely place to stay, with friendly, accommodating staff and a dive shop where you can discover the underwater world. Highly recommended.
