Romantic Place Guesthouse

The rooms are big and the place is clean, but the fan room gets really hot, unfortunately. There are two big pools, and the food is good and priced locally rather than at tourist rates. Be ready to wait a little for meals. They serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner, though they close at 7pm, so plan to eat dinner a bit early.

Such a peaceful, quiet place. We fell in love with the calm, zen feel, and the staff were really friendly and approachable. They even let us borrow a charger. Breakfast is provided, and there’s free water, which matters when nearby restaurants can charge so much. If you’re in the mood for fun, there’s a restaurant/bar right beside Romantic Place. Even after a lively night there, you can come back and sleep peacefully.

The exterior has a playful look, and the dorm was clean when we checked in. Each bed came with its own fan and outlet, the room had a private bathroom, and they provided toilet paper. The rate was reasonable, and they let us check in early for free, so we could tour Malapascua in the morning. Free drinking water saved me a lot. They arranged our day tour to Kalanggaman Islandand invited us to their local disco, which was fun. There’s a pool, though I didn’t get to swim in it. I’d recommend the place, but individual lockers would be a good addition for a shared room.

The pool was a great place to relax and enjoy yourself, and the Wi-Fi connection was strong. We found the service at Romantic Place Guesthouse really good, and the accommodation arrangements were flexible. I want everyone to know we had a super nice stay.
