The grounds were beautiful, the rooms were nice, and the staff were very friendly, accommodating and personable. We needed hot water in the showers, though, and it wasn’t there. I’d rate it four stars instead of five because, as a dive resort, they should have dive instructors and guides on staff, but they didn’t. They did arrange another dive shop for us, then later brought in a freelance guide for some local dives.

The beach shifts from sand to seagrass beds, but the water is clean. The resort is beautiful and secluded, and the pool is tempting. Sunrise and sunset bring amazing colors to your mornings and afternoons here. The staff are helpful and pleasing. You should enjoy it here.

It’s a small, cozy hotel for relaxing away from the crowds for a couple of days. The staff are helpful, the rooms are clean, and the bed was comfy. Food is acceptable, and breakfast has two options each day that you’ll definitely like. Just don’t plan to leave the hotel every day without checking the route first. The location and access to the main road might not be as easy as you assume.

It’s a bit far from the center, though Alona Beach is only a 5 minute Tricycle ride away. The staff are friendly and respond quickly to customer needs. The restaurant serves great food at reasonable prices, with all kinds of drinks and cocktails. There’s a nice sea view, and if you join an island hopping tour, they can pick you up from the shore along the resort. The resort also provides diving gear and lessons to practise in its 3 meter deep pool.

The Dive Thru Resort is just outside town, so you get some well deserved peace while staying close to everything. The staff are 5 star quality, and this was the best diving experience we’ve ever had. I can’t say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay.
