The biggest issue was being assigned a room different from the one I booked. Mine was smaller, had no window, and was by reception instead of the garden. It was dirty, smelled bad, and had lots of insects. On the second night, some very large cockroaches showed up too. There was a kettle, but its socket was about two meters up beside the bed, so I had to stand there waiting for it to boil. The air conditioner only switched on and off from its remote. It was dusty and dirty, and I doubt the filters had been cleaned. Dirt was on the wardrobe, under the bed, and in the light fixture, where insects flew toward me when I turned off the light and picked up my phone. The chairs in the photos are covered with cloth, but the one in my room was a plastic chair that looked like it had come from a dumpster. They had plenty of proper chairs in the banquet room and expensive wooden furniture at reception. They watched me sit in the lobby for four hours even though my room was supposedly ready, because early check-in cost 200 pesos per hour. After five minutes in the room, I asked to cancel because the conditions and attitude were disgusting. They refused. I'm attaching real photos so people can see I'm telling the truth. Maybe this is fine for locals, but as a European I found everything here very bad.
