The setting is quiet, with a nice social atmosphere, great villas, and lovely views from the mountain above the ocean. There’s a spacious lawn and a fantastic pool, and I found the place clean and safe. Most of the residents seemed to be European-Filipina couples, and they were all really nice. I got around by motorcycle. Tagbilaran is the nearest city, about 15 minutes to downtown and the shops. Beaches are nearby by vehicle but too far to walk. Some are about 12 minutes away, while Alona Beach, the nicest one, takes 20-30 minutes by motorbike. I stayed at Bohol Homes for a while and had a great time.
