Seaview Hills Luxury Apartments & Rooms

We planned on staying two days and ended up spending a week here with my girlfriend. The apartment was a good size and well equipped, and good value for money. The owner and crew had the best vibe, always helpful, smiling, and caring. The only downside is you need a scooter to get around, though they'll help arrange one if you ask. Amazing place. If I could give more than five stars, I would. I'll be back for sure.

For $90 a night, the value wasn't there. Service was close to nonexistent, and I wouldn't recommend it. The photos are quite accurate, though, better than most places around. We had the top apartment, right under the swimming pool. The staff kept a dog in the owner's apartment above us. It barked loudly and growled aggressively whenever we came in or out. Even trying to reach the pool meant hearing it bark nonstop, which made the whole thing uncomfortable and impossible to enjoy. Aside from check-in, staff weren't reachable or on site. On the second-to-last day, the gatekeeper who is there sometimes knocked repeatedly in the morning to ask when we were checking out. He had the day wrong and woke us early. I also couldn't arrange a proper checkout: I messaged and called the day before and again that morning, but nobody replied or picked up. We had to leave and carry our suitcases and other luggage down three levels of stairs without help. The apartment wasn't properly cleaned when we arrived. There was hair and trash from previous guests in the bathroom and living room, and an opened, used dirty bar of soap in the bathroom. I hung the sign asking for cleaning, but it wasn't cleaned at all during our four days. Staff were so difficult, almost impossible, to reach, so we gave up and cleaned it ourselves.

Great for a good night's sleep, with a really nice pool. They also rent bikes, so it was completely perfect!

Alona Beach is a bit far away, but the quiet made up for it and was comfortable. We had a great time in the lovely apartment. We first booked a backpacker room, then upgraded as soon as we saw the apartment. The beds were really nice, the best I've had so far in the Philippines. There's a lovely infinity pool on the third level. The owners were really nice, and we shared some beers and a good time. I'd totally recommend this place!
