We booked for Dec. 20, 2025. The room was clean and fairly priced, and the staff were nice. The lady at reception, who also manages things, was especially friendly and handled her work well.

My iPhone went missing during our stay, and the way it was handled was a huge hassle. We checked out at 10:15am, left all our bags and luggage at the hotel, then went to buy food. At a bread shop my son wanted to play on the phone, and I realized it wasn’t in my sling bag. I was still calm because I thought it might be in one of the bags we’d left behind. We returned within 30 minutes and it wasn’t there. Sue at the Frontdesk said we could go up to the room. I saw a male maintenance worker and a female housekeeping worker cleaning inside. I asked if they could help make a missed call, but they said they weren’t allowed to use a phone and didn’t have one with them, so I should ask the front desk to call. The phone was still ringing. I saw the male worker go downstairs with a phone in his back pocket, but I didn’t ask him about it because I worried he’d say I was accusing him. I later saw him go to the small house at the opposite hotel during break. If staff aren’t allowed to use phones, they could still take something they find outside the hotel. That’s why the situation felt so frustrating. We were meant to go to Samal island, but got delayed while making a blotter and police report. By 3:30pm the phone was switched off. I only remembered my Find iPhone password that night. It was still waiting for the phone to connect to data so it could be located, but I had already locked it and put it in lost mode. Even after we checked back in, no manager or owner reached out to investigate with us. How can they just blame the guest and say it may have been lost outside within 30 minutes? They said staff aren’t allowed to use phones, but staff can leave and go to their sleeping quarter anytime. They could pick something up and hide it in their room. There’s an issue with that policy. There’s no CCTV proof that I took the phone outside, so why not believe it was left in my room and taken by a staff member? DAVAO IS SAFE BUT NOT THIS HOTEL.

The Front Officers and other staff were very accommodating. Still, the room smelled like roaches and old rat droppings. A quieter air conditioner would be appreciated, and an elevator would help, especially with a fourth floor.

The place was clean, the welcome atmosphere was good, and the service was fine. But I wasn’t happy with how the pool booking hours were counted. We booked for four hours, so I expected exactly four hours, from 5pm to 9pm. They said 5pm to 8pm already counted as four because the booking time itself counts as the first hour. Nobody explained that to us. Not recommendable.
