This was the worst experience we’ve had. We came for the pool because it’s nearby and accessible, and booked the highest-cost room for 15 hours. We also paid extra for the pool and a safety deposit worth 200. With the high volume of guests, we registered at 7pm and weren’t attended to until 7:30. They’d advertised free Netflix and YouTube, but the room TV had only one channel. We expected that because of the cheap price, so it was fine. The trouble came at checkout. Nobody told us we had to check out 30 minutes before our time was up, so we checked out earlier. We asked the front desk what time we’d checked in and why we had to leave early. She went upstairs, came back with an attitude, and said checkout takes so long because cleaning the room is included in the time we paid for. We explained that we got into the room at 7:30pm, but she said they follow the registered time. We told her we hadn’t been informed about the early checkout. She bragged about the amenities, especially the aircon, as if looking down on us. Even after we left the desk and waited, she kept blubbering. She served customers who checked out after us first, making us wait almost 30 minutes. We were a couple, both women, but security called my partner “sir” even though we were both wearing women’s clothing. At the parking lot gate, they took their time opening it. The guard scolded us for honking and said they were busy inside, although we saw no customers in the lobby.
