It’s a pleasant, comfortable place for temporary guests coming from distant regions. The large, functional hall can hold many people for seminars, conferences, or weddings. It’s very affordable, with good facilities ready to use, including a gym, restaurant, and covered parking. If I have business in the city, this is convenient because it’s right in the heart of town, near shopping centers and the parks and playground of Magsaysay.

It’s clean, well cared for, and feels safe, with a guard on site. This is the least expensive bed and breakfast I’ve come across in the city. Bring your own towel, and if you’ll be sharing with strangers, take a padlock for the cabinet.

For just 240 a day when I stayed in September 2018, you get a gym, a simple breakfast for free, roomy shared showers, and a separate shared toilet. That’s an incredibly low hostel price. A solid pick for backpackers watching their budget.

The food wasn’t great, but the place itself was quiet and comfortable. Our reservation was a problem: we expected the rooms to be just for our group, then found out other people were already assigned there. Some of us ended up sleeping alongside people we didn’t know.

The room stays really cold, and there are lockers to keep things safe. I was traveling alone and shared with other solo backpackers. Security and service were great, though the bathroom and dining hall could have been cleaner. Nice place for the price.
