When I arrived, the staff had no idea I had a booking. The room was filthy, with no toilet seat or toiletries. The bedding was yellowed, and the pillow looked like it had been kicked around for weeks. The place was disgusting, just like others have shown. In a word, it’s a “chit-ho.” It’s right beside an extremely noisy highway, too. Book at your own risk. I’d choose “My Hotel” downtown instead, a very worthy place to stay. You’d be safer and cleaner sleeping under any banana leaf anywhere.

I paid 300.50 php through agoda. It’s handy if you have an early flight, since the airport is only a couple of minutes away. But the room I rented had no comfort room inside, unlike other inns. There was just one CR, and it was so small there wasn’t enough room to move around properly while bathing. I didn’t see any insects in our room, but the road noise was really loud and I hardly slept. The place is made of wood, so you can hear people in the other rooms too.

For cheap rent, it’s a good place. I stayed two days at 750 peso a day. Having its own toilet and aircon was all I needed in Davao. It felt safe, and taxis were easy to get right outside. I was next to the main office and kitchen, so there was some noise, but that seemed normal for the Philippines.

This might be the cheapest hotel near Davao airport, but the 400 Php room is a basic setup: one fan, a bed, two pillows, a small table, three power outlets, and one light. I’d seen 312 mentioned in Google searches for cheap hotels, but the actual rate was 400 per room. For 700, you get a toilet and aircon, along with the items in the cheaper room. I checked in for one night. The building is on the national highway, so you can hear traffic nearby. I didn’t see a security guard, just three CCTV cameras. Taxis and public utility jeepneys are available along the highway.

It’s very close to the airport, but our room was dirty and dusty, as if it wasn’t cleaned daily. Their pet rat ate one of our pasalubong.
