I stopped by Traveler’s Inn Bajada in Bajada, Davao City to ask questions and see whether it might suit a stay. The receptionist didn't seem very welcoming or accommodating. The lounge also smelled unpleasant and felt uncomfortable. It was quite hot inside while I was there, which could be uncomfortable for people waiting or checking in. These are just my honest observations from the visit. I hope management improves customer service and guest comfort. 📸 Curated by Pitik ni Lolie | Level 7 Local Guide

I had just arrived, and the place showed very little regard for its guests. It came across as focused on taking people's money, with little to no professionalism. I wouldn't recommend it to travelers or backpackers. The women at the counter just don't seem to care.

When I asked the guard about parking on arrival, I was told it was first come, first served, there was no guarantee of a space, and they weren't liable if none was available. That was frustrating after a long trip, especially when arriving late and expecting basic convenience and courtesy. The response felt dismissive, as though guest concerns didn't matter. There was no alternative or offer to help, just a cold policy without empathy. As a paying guest, I expected more consideration. Management should train staff to handle concerns more professionally and courteously. Parking is basic but important. Make the policy clear when people book, or consider reserving spaces for guests with confirmed reservations. The attitude of “not our problem” reflects badly on customer service. A little more care and help would go a long way.

I came from far away without sleep and didn't want to wait, so I paid extra to check in early, about an hour before the regular check-in time. The customer service wasn't good for me. They made everything difficult, so I won't go back. I hope I don't have to.

The front desk employees were friendly, polite, and smiled, so I still give it five stars. The location is easy to reach from whichever route you need to take. It's good for a short stay. The rooms are underground, and there's no kitchen for quick meals, so you'll need to use Foodpanda or Grab. The front desk has instant cup noodles, bottled water, and coffee. There's one water dispenser in the hallway and no phone in the room.
