Regency Inn

The location is right in the middle of Poblacion, and the night market is walkable from here. Service was great: when I asked for a toothbrush, they brought one right away, and they quickly supplied other missing amenities when requested. My room was fine otherwise, but I gave the rooms a 3 because mine had no windows and the bidet didn’t work. I generally don’t like being in a room without sunlight. For this kind of place, around 1,500 a night seems fair, though I’m not sure of the exact price because a sponsor paid for the room.

My comfort was affected by several things: the TV was old, the bed uncomfortable, the AC weak, and the restroom outdated. The outlets also weren’t supported. I hope they address these issues to make stays more comfortable.

The hotel is very accommodating, and the employees are kind.

Regency inn is a good place to stay in Davao City. The rooms are old, but they’re maintained well, and the staff are kind and friendly. There’s a good variety of food, and it tastes good too. They’ve removed the smoking area and no longer allow smoking on the property. That’s good in one way, but it’s bad news for guests and tourists who smoke.
