We booked a dorm type room for one night and regretted it. After checking in at 9pm, tired from traveling, we were woken around 4am by water leaking from the aircon and flooding the floor. We called housekeeping twice before anyone acted, though we understood the delay might have been because of the time. What we didn't like was the response to our complaint. They tried to be diplomatic, but seemed to ask, "Didn't you notice, ma'am?" We were asleep. What guest expects a flood in the middle of the night? It was such a hassle. Instead of resting until checkout, everyone was up early, three phones were broken, and several clothes were wet. Salamat, Green Windows. Never again.

My room was on the 4th floor. Before going in, I checked the fire exit and followed the signs, but they didn't take me straight to the fire exit stairs, so I had to go back inside to reach them. From the right wing, the back fire exit is a long way off. I found a closer spiral stairway, but there were no directional signs to it, which is why I first ended up at the back exit.

A family-friendly budget hotel in Davao, with nice rooms and staff. It's affordable and gives easy access to the city.

For the price, the room was terrible. There were no windows, just a concrete wall, and the pillows were awful. The aircon swung between too hot and too cold. I won't stay again. Other places offer better value.

The room was clean, and the customer service was great. I had a good experience.
