The cabins look a bit old, but if you need somewhere for team building or a retreat, this place fits the bill.

The calm setting is a nice escape from city life, and the staff are attentive and really try to make the stay pleasant. At Anne Raquel's Resort in Olongapo, you get comfortable accommodations for the price, plus well-kept pools and recreation areas for families or solo visitors. Some amenities feel dated, but the resort still has a welcoming charm. A good place for a refreshing break.

The food portions are small, and asking for more felt like a no-no. The two younger servers looked at you as if it were a crime, though the older servers were fine and very accommodating. I did like all the trees and plants around the place. This nature-inspired hotel is a must-visit if you love lots of greenery.

There are plenty of trails to walk, a pool to swim in, or you can just do something else. Breakfast comes free with the stay and can vary, with a different Filipino delicacy each day, like Bangus or homemade longaniza. Anne Raquel's feels in harmony with nature, with a leafy canopy covering most of the resort and making it cool, quiet, and tranquil. The staff are professional, friendly, and helpful. Highly recommended.
