Akoya Beach Park & Cottages

We stayed in the family cottage, with two beds and a private bathroom, which felt like a nice bit of luxury. Breakfast was delicious and very well priced. It was lovely to wake up and have coffee right on the beach. The sand was soft and the water clean and nice for swimming, though at times it got quite wavy and was still fun for a swim. This quiet little cottage resort was a peaceful place to stay, with picturesque views and lots of good photo spots. There were nice beach chairs and hammocks for reading or lounging. The hosts were super friendly and helpful, making our stay stress free. The massage place out front was convenient, and also offers manicures and pedicures. I'd definitely recommend this as the best place to stay on bucana beach.

Gina and her family, who run the place, are lovely. The breakfast is delicious, so don't think about skipping it. There aren't many rooms or cottages, and the gardens, chairs, tables, and beds make it easy to lounge around all day. It's a quiet beachside place where you can do nothing. We checked out most of the beach accommodation before moving to Bucana, and this IS the best. We extended once, but when we tried again, our cottage had been let to someone else. What a shame. The Agoda and booking site photos don't do the place justice. I'll send over some updated ones when I get the chance, so look out for a refreshed site soon. Great place.

We had a great week by the sea. It's a quiet, charming place, just right for relaxing and getting away. The facilities are what you'd expect, and the staff are super friendly and helpful. If you're thinking of visiting El Nido, this is the place to stay.
