Jhanna's Inn

Jhanna's Travel was assigned to us after we booked island hopping through Klook. Their staff were friendly and helpful, and even tried to arrange our ferry ticket to Coron when we couldn't get one because everything was fully booked. We did tours A and C with them and enjoyed both a lot. The long wait at the port before we could set off in the morning was the one drawback.

This was a terrible tour from beginning to end. Ellen tours passed us to Jhannas Inn tour and travel for Tour A. They said they would pick us up, emailed us, and we confirmed, but we waited well before the pickup time and they never showed. Then they lied about having come to get us. We paid the Big Lagoon entrance fee, but they didn't take us there. The boat left around 10:30 a.m., even though we'd been told it would leave at 9 a.m. no matter what and not to be late. About 20 minutes after leaving the dock, the 'guide' went through the itinerary without mentioning Big Lagoon. At least 20 of us raised our hands to say we'd booked and paid for it. They took our money knowing we wouldn't go there and misled us. When we asked for a refund, they said the Small Lagoon now had an entrance fee and that our payment had gone toward those tickets instead. Totally shocking behavior from a business.

The inn looks fairly new, and the room was large, clean, and spacious, with big soft beds, good Wi-Fi, towels, and a clean CR. There were no toiletries. It’s around a three-minute walk from the tour jump-off point, and you get a sea view as soon as you step outside. It helps to know it’s near the Petron gas station, since some drivers don't recognize the location. There’s no breakfast, but a carinderia right out front sells porridge and instant coffee or chocolate, which is acceptable for most locals. During two brownouts on the same night, the generator took a while to start, so we had to leave the room to avoid suffocating. There were no outages the second night. The toilet plumbing also had an issue: it was clean, but air came back up when flushing and made it smell bad.

We did Tour A with them and loved it. The guides were helpful and fun, the islands we visited were beautiful, and everything went smoothly. They also made a great lunch.
