Balai Adlao

The free sunset cruise is worth fitting in. After island hopping, we caught it and found ourselves alone on the big outrigger boat. Captain Rami/Rammy, head of Balai Adlao Marine, was friendly, lively, accommodating, and knew a lot about the marine life along the coast. He made our private cruise really enjoyable. There’s also free snorkeling from 9AM-12NN. We wanted a simple place with breakfast for our 3D2N of kayaking and island hopping, away from busy El Nido Town, so we chose Lio Beach. Balai Adlao’s room and restaurant were clean, quaint, and cozy, and gave us the comfort and rest we needed. The staff were accommodating and explained how to get around Lio and El Nido town. The receptionists were proactive about transport, including a free hourly shuttle between Lio and El Nido Town and a paid joiner shuttle to Nacpan Beach. They made sure we knew our way. A good option if you want a quiet, clean stay.

The people are what made Balao Adlao feel so special to me. The staff were some of the kindest, happiest people I’ve met while traveling, always smiling, helpful, and welcoming. There’s a sincere, loving feeling here, almost like being part of a happy family. It’s rare to find that kind of atmosphere. You can enjoy complimentary snorkeling, kayaking, a morning tour, and a lovely sunset tour. The hotel is right on Lio Beach, one of the best beaches on the island. There are also great cafés and restaurants nearby, along with spas, yoga, and Pilates, while the area still feels relaxed. It’s one of those places that stays in your heart. I honestly didn’t want to leave.

I found it easy to unwind here, especially by the pool, with the peaceful surroundings. The rooms were spacious, clean, and nicely designed, and the staff were friendly and attentive throughout, always ready to help. The food was delicious and well prepared too. A relaxing resort for a memorable El Nido vacation.

The location made this stay, close to the beach and plenty of food options if you don’t want to go far. I booked through Agoda and paid less than the published rate. The rooms were okay, and the free morning snorkeling and sunset cruise were a really nice bonus.
