The quiet, beautiful location made for a comfortable and easy stay, about an 8-minute drive from the main town. This is a fairly new place and feels more like a guesthouse than a hotel, so daily housekeeping isn’t something to expect. We had four wonderful nights and would come back in a heartbeat. On arrival, the hosts welcomed us warmly and gave us useful information about El Nido. They helped with everything from restaurant suggestions and tour bookings to arranging a bike. The cosy room and charming bathroom had everything we needed: a mosquito plug-in, refillable safe drinking water, mini sunscreen, tea, coffee, a kettle, soaps, and even a wet bag. Power outages are common, so they also thoughtfully provided a portable fan and light.

I stayed four nights in a very basic room with minimal, almost nonexistent services. Despite asking, I didn’t get any room cleaning. After I left a regular review on Booking, the property replied in what felt like absolute bad faith, claiming I had left “strong odor and dirt.” They seem to make that accusation to all clients who express an opinion they don’t like. Dirt? After four days without cleaning the room. Strong odor? Maybe humidity in the property?

The room was clean and adequate, and the location was convenient, but we slept poorly for all three nights. The soundproofing was poor, and the neighbors were noisy, sometimes late into the night. There was even a rooster crowing at 5:00 AM. The host was very friendly and helpful. He arranged a scooter for us before we arrived, so it was already waiting, and gave us valuable tips throughout the day.

The host was very friendly and the location is great, but the room is extremely noisy. The neighbors’ music was so loud that we unfortunately couldn’t sleep well. The bathroom is quite small, and there isn’t much space generally. The towels aren’t suitable for drying.

The hosts were really friendly and kept us informed when a typhoon passed through El Nido during our stay. They helped us prepare for it, too. The room was clean, and having a kettle and hot water for the shower was a plus. I recommend getting a scooter, since it makes reaching town and the beaches easier.
