Amadeus and the staff were great, friendly hosts. The place is a nice, cosy spot to come back to after a day out. At first I wasn't impressed: it's set a little away from the Main Street, and the front beach looks unappealing at low tide. But the Main Street is only a 3-4 minute walk through the front, so it's not far. El Nido proper is mostly a starting point for island tours anyway, rather than somewhere you come for the city beach.

The location is great, but the bathroom is cramped and the water doesn't drain all the way. I couldn't sit upright on the toilet because my knees hit the wall, so I had to spread my legs wide.

For a cheap hotel, it had everything we needed: hot running water, AC, and helpful, nice staff. It's not a luxury place, so don't come expecting high-end. If you just need somewhere affordable that works, it's great.

The rooftop terrace was lovely for getting together each day, having breakfast, chatting, and enjoying the beautiful view. The rooms are simple but clean, and the location is great, close to everything. Antonio was so friendly and helpful.

In October 2025, I spent three nights at Amadeus Inn. My room faced the beach and had an ocean view, and it was a good size. The area was quiet compared with most other places, and the price for that location couldn't be beaten. It probably won't be cheap in high season, but I'll definitely stay at Amadeus again next time I'm in El Nido Palawan.
