The girl serving breakfast was kind and helpful, and the food was nice, though it was far too early. But I got a bad feeling about the place. The owner checked my friend and me out with uncomfortable stares, and I wouldn’t recommend it for solo travel. Our room wasn’t too bad, but the aircon leaked and left it wet. The pillows and so-called blanket were a joke. I also found a button on the bed that belonged to neither of us. It made me think the guy had entered our room without permission, and I don’t know what else might have been touched while we were out. There’s no drinking fountain or water refill.

Ants were in the room and bed, and the location wasn’t ideal: getting to El Nido town costs 100 php. There are no water refills, so guests have to buy plastic bottles, which felt like a way to make more profit. They kept pushing boat tours day and night even after I made it clear I wasn’t interested. We stayed four nights and the room was never serviced, even when we asked. A strange button on the bed belonged to none of us. Since there was no room service, we couldn’t make sense of it and felt very uncomfortable, as if someone had entered and slept on the bed.

Breakfast was brought to our private balcony each morning, and it couldn’t have been better. These are lovely little family huts, just a few minutes’ walk from the beach. We had a great stay!

The room was neat, breakfast was good, and the staff were super accommodating. We got more than our money’s worth and had a very comfy stay. PS, book tours here, they offer discounts.

The room was cheaper than the others, and breakfast was good. The people were very nice too. There’s a path to the beach, and they arrange sea trips as well as transport back to Puerto Princessa.
