The week was forecast to be rainy, but we only got showers now and then and the sun eventually came out. We didn’t have any nik-nik insects either. We made good use of the pool and happy hour drinks, and got to watch a great sunset on our first night. The staff were attentive, almost as if they knew what we’d ask for next. Breakfast was more Pinoy style, and we loved the spread. The estate is well planned, with a nice range of restaurants and services, and everything you need is within walking distance. Staff said they could call a van for our larger group to get downtown instead of tricycles. We also arranged a private boat tour by asking at the front desk. On checkout day, I was sad to close our room door. Such great memories!

The buffet breakfast had a good selection, and the whole place felt peaceful and relaxing. The staff were friendly, accommodating and attentive, making sure we were doing okay throughout our visit. We had a lovely stay and would happily come back.

I stayed here with my husband and our two kids, aged 5 and 3. It takes about 10 minutes by car to downtown, or you can take a tricycle. Lio beach was a nice, uncrowded place to relax, and very kid friendly. We had to change rooms because the bathroom had a bad smell. The staff helped us move our things. The AC in the second room was really weak, but they fixed it after we told them. Breakfast was average, with lots of Western options and a few Filipino dishes. There was always fish, but they rotated it, so you didn’t get tired of breakfast. Lunch and dinner cost more here than in the main town. We’ll definitely stay here again.

The rooms are fine and the staff are really friendly, with excellent service. But at least two rooms smelled of mold coming from the mini-split AC, and there was plenty of visible mold in the shower. Turning off the cooling helps with the smell.

The helpful, friendly staff and the location were real positives. It’s right on Lio beach, with lots of food options only two minutes away. Laundry is charged by the kilo, not per item. The rooms felt dated and had no character. Some sheets were yellow and stained, and blood stains on the mattress toppers showed through the sheets.
