El Nido Garden Resort

We could walk to everything from this spot in El Nido, and the pool area was lovely for swimming and sunbathing with the view. Our room was very spacious, the AC worked perfectly, and the staff were polite. I'd definitely come back.

We were a group of ten friends here for three nights, our first time in El Nido. The view from our room was amazing, and the food at the resort was generally good, though the drinks were very sugary, sweet, and watered down. The room didn't meet the standard shown in the photos for the price. The bathroom wasn't very clean, the water pressure was extremely poor, and there was barely any water from the shower or hot water. We only had one bed pillow each and two small lounge pillows. Service felt average. On the second day we took an island hopping tour. Hotel staff told us towels would be available on the tour, but that wasn't true. We spent the day wet and got sunburnt because we couldn't dry off properly or reapply sunscreen. We thought the staff knew this and didn't want us to take the towels, even though we had them for the beach the next day. Renovations were still going on, especially at the pool bar, with work early in the morning and at night that disturbed the peace. They should redo the bathrooms, improve the water pressure, and get better bedding.

We chose the Deluxe Poolside room for three nights and would definitely recommend it. It was clean, modern, and a great size, with just a couple of steps to the pool and town beach. We didn't see a single bug. The included buffet breakfast was tasty and had different options each day. The staff, including the security guards, were all kind and welcoming. It costs a bit more than usual in El Nido, but I thought it was fair for such an enjoyable stay.

I slept well and found the room large, with quiet AC, fluffy white towels, disposable slippers, toiletries, and a safe. There were water dispensers on every floor. The gym was useful, the location was great, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I was on the fifth floor looking over another building, which didn't bother me since there was so much to explore outside. What did need attention was a drainage or sewage smell that reached the room. I managed it by buying air fresheners, but it should be addressed. Breakfast also had limited choices and needs more variety.
