We spent a week at La Colonial and really recommend it. Breakfast and the other meals were excellent and reasonably priced, and the bar and restaurant had relaxing music. The staff were friendly, smiling, and attentive, and even packed us lunch for our island hopping day. They also arranged scooter rentals and took care of everything. The rooms are spacious, and the surrounding greenery is beautiful. It’s in a quiet area outside town, about 5 minutes from Vanilla Beach and under 15 minutes from El Nido Town Square by scooter or tricycle. A great choice if you want to stay near El Nido.

The quiet setting was worth the 10-15 minute ride from the main town, and the cats around the resort are so cute. My husband and I had an amazing week at La Colonial Resort. Erika, Lucy and Gerald were especially kind and welcoming, and all the staff made us feel at home. They helped book our island tour, arranged daily rides into town, and got us a van back to the airport on our last day. Every night they brought traditional Filipino desserts as a sweet treat, and the included breakfast was delicious and felt luxurious. Our room was clean and had everything we needed.

We had such a good time during our 3 nights at La Colonial. Everyone was so kind, whether at reception, the bar, or in the kitchen. They can arrange things for you, like a scooter rental. The breakfast choices and main dishes were very good. Thank you so much!

El Nido can get busy, so staying at this peaceful spot a short drive out was nice. Gerald and the team were brilliant and really friendly. They organized everything we needed, including a scooter rental and airport transfer.

The rooms were spacious, clean, and felt luxurious, and the staff were extremely helpful and attentive. This is a nice place if you want to be a bit away from El Nido’s busy streets. Corong Corong beach is about ten minutes away by tricycle, or you can rent a moped. I would have given 5 stars, but the airport ride they arranged to Puerto Princesa was 2 1/2 hours late on our last day, and we missed our flight. The staff kept saying it was coming. I honestly think the driver forgot us and they put us on the next transport. A very unfortunate end to the stay.
