Last Frontier Beach Resort - Adults Only

It’s a small resort with lots of nice touches, and a good choice if you want somewhere quieter but still convenient in el nido. The rooms were clean and lovely, and we enjoyed the pool area and breakfasts. There are plenty of really nice restaurants right nearby, or an easy tricycle ride away. The staff were super helpful and even tried to remember us by name. We had a wonderful stay and couldn’t recommend it more.

We’re on our honeymoon and have stayed in about 10 hotels by now. This one has been the nicest and most fun by far. It’s right on the beach, with a nice pool and great rooms, and not too far from el nido town. The staff’s generosity and kindness were unlike anything we’ve experienced. We enjoyed every moment and hope to come back.

The view and peaceful atmosphere made our Christmas stay at Last Frontier El Nido special. It’s a lovely place to unwind and take in El Nido’s natural beauty, and it became one of the best hotels we’ve visited. When it was my partner’s birthday, the staff went out of their way to make it memorable. They decorated our room beautifully and prepared a cake, such a thoughtful gesture. We had the best stay and will definitely return. Highly recommended!

The care from the staff was what made our five nights here stand out. They cut welcome letters from beautiful leaves, greeted us by name on the entrance sign and learned our names, so we didn’t have to keep repeating our room number. When we rented motorbikes, they suggested a nice route, reminded us to drive carefully and warned us about dogs that might dart across the road. It really felt like they cared. At Christmas they gave us personalized laser-engraved wooden journals. They also arranged motorbike rentals, laundry, transfers and tricycles. The location was good, and we could enjoy a great water view from the restaurant and pool, though not from our room. The resort was quiet, with some neighbor noise but nothing excessive. Our room was clean, had a big patio to relax on, and was nice overall. I took off a star because I’m usually tolerant of creatures, but cockroaches really freak me out. There was often a new one in the bathroom whenever I went in. I know that may just be part of life on an island in the tropics surrounded by jungle, but it still bothers me. We enjoyed our stay and left a big tip because the staff were amazing.
