The rooftop infinity pool has breathtaking sunset views, and breakfast is simple but the omelettes are amazing. We stayed four nights, and the hotel needs work. The rooms are very small for two people with luggage. The elevators are dirty and smell bad, with a loose plank; the lobby restroom smells like sewer and the sink is disgusting. Our room's bathroom had mold, and its floor was loose too. If they fix the place up, it could be amazing.

The hotel was crowded and chaotic, with no relaxing atmosphere, and it felt seriously overpriced for the condition of the rooms. I can't understand all the positive reviews. Lime Hotel El Nido seemed old and run down, and the strong mold smell hit me as soon as we entered. I'm very allergic to dust and mold, so it was a serious problem. It seemed like an old central AC system with filters that aren't cleaned properly. The shower came apart and the water was cold. We asked to move because of my allergies. The second room was a little better but still unacceptable, and I ended up sleeping on the balcony to avoid a reaction. Staff brought me an old sunbed, which I appreciated, but this shouldn't be necessary at this price. I couldn't leave a review on Booking, so I hope this helps other travelers make an informed decision.

We booked this hotel because we wanted a nice place with a bathtub, but the shower and tub water were cold. Maintenance said it would be warm in five minutes, but it wasn't. We asked again, and the next morning only the shower ran warm. The hair dryer was broken too. Breakfast had several buffet choices, which was good, but the tables were left dirty and looked like a cafeteria, so we cleaned ours ourselves. A sensor by the bathroom lit up the whole room when we were trying to sleep near it. We couldn't sleep like that, so maintenance fixed it. I don't like posting negative comments, but this was disappointing, especially since it was our honeymoon. We paid a lot, and the two-star hotel we stayed in before was much better.

I was glad to see flyers for local businesses at The Lime Hotel. One led me to Reggae Island Restaurant & Bar, which had a great vibe and energy, and was excellent all around. It was refreshing to see local hospitality businesses supporting one another, adding value for guests and showing a healthy local scene. The Lime Hotel itself felt organized and welcoming from the moment we arrived, with thoughtful design, friendly and helpful staff, and a smooth, comfortable stay. It also connects guests to what El Nido has to offer. Highly recommended, and I'd happily stay again.

The pool is dangerous. Tiles were missing, and one of our kids was injured because of it. The rooms and furniture also raised health and safety concerns, with very dirty floors and furniture so moldy and filthy that it felt unsafe to use. The hotel advertises itself as “high-tech,” but most of those features don't work in practice. It's in a mobile dead zone with no reception, so card payments often fail, especially in bad weather. Nearby houses start their motorbikes early, making a good night's sleep difficult. Poor upkeep, unsafe conditions and misleading marketing make this stay not worth it, especially for families.
