We came expecting a nice room and were pleasantly surprised by how new and clean it felt. We're in the four-person ocean-view room, which seems to have just been renovated. The photos really need updating. We planned to stay three days, then added three more on our first day. There's a lovely terrace overlooking the ocean. The water in front isn't really for swimming, though you can take a dip. There are lots of rocks, so water shoes are recommended. We're here with our two-year-old daughter, who loves playing in the sand in the resort seating area. The location is ideal, near restaurants but quiet in the evenings. As far as I can tell, only the three- and four-person ocean-view rooms are renovated so far. It may be worth paying a little more for one of those, though we can't comment on the others and think you can still enjoy the property for less. Breakfast choices are a bit limited, as they are in many places here, but it doesn't bother us. Staff are very friendly, and drinks and beers at reception cost about the same as nearby shops. I'd recommend staying here, especially in one of the two renovated beachfront rooms.

We stayed in one of just eight spotless rooms on the quiet beach at Corong-Corong, away from busy, noisy El Nido town but still reachable on foot in 15 minutes or by tuk-tuk in five. The property is well cared for and full of plants. Three rooms at the front have full sea views, and Bacuit Bay looks spectacular. All the rooms were upgraded in 2025, with a fan, good air-conditioning, hot shower, and wardrobe. The Wi-Fi is good, and you don't need a mosquito net in an air-conditioned room. There's a free station for water, tea, and coffee. Breakfast is freshly cooked and very nice. Go for the Filipino breakfast with rice rather than the two pieces of toast. They serve it on your terrace or in the front garden. Rooms are cleaned on request, and reception can arrange tours and transport with pickup included, at no extra charge. The staff are polite, helpful, and friendly. Manager Jody and her husband Rhonald even gave me a present for staying 12 nights at their cottages. I have two suggestions: soundproof the windows, since loud Americans or young children running around early in the morning can wake you up. Evenings are generally quiet. A few sunbeds in the front garden for relaxing might be nice too. Otherwise, it's perfect. Thank you, Richard, Maïra, Mimi, and Tongtong. You're all doing a great job. See you next time!

I had a great stay for the price during my two nights there in October. The room was spacious and clean, breakfast was free each morning, and the location was convenient. The staff were really nice and helpful to me as a foreign tourist. I'll stay here again when I'm next in El Nido.

The breakfast could be better. It was just three slices of white bread, an egg, and a banana, so I knocked off a star. Otherwise, this is a clean, comfortable place on the beach in a good location, with friendly staff and good Wi-Fi. They rent motorbikes for a great price, ₱400 for 24 hours. I was skeptical before arriving because some reviews were bad, but I think they've fixed most of those complaints, and some people may have expectations that are too high. It's a great option if you're on a budget. Thanks again, Mina Grande!
