We stayed here last December and were unsure at first because it’s some distance from El Nido town. Once we arrived, though, we were pleasantly surprised and didn’t want to leave. After a 15-minute boat ride, Vanessa, Carol, Mabel, and Lyn greeted us with warm smiles and looked after every detail. The property is surrounded by nature, but Starlink kept us connected despite being away from the bustle. The accommodations blend traditional Filipino bamboo style with modern comfort, simply and thoughtfully furnished for a relaxed, authentic feel. Every meal, from breakfast through dinner, was amazing, varied, and made with fresh ingredients and care. There are free-roaming dogs, cats, a cow, and ducks that made the experience even more special. Alberto and his partner Rochelle are fantastic hosts who make guests feel at home, and their passion shows in the details. I highly recommend Playa Encantada for a relaxing, comfortable stay with a unique atmosphere far from the chaos.

The villa was spacious, with a large front balcony where we could sit, eat, and take in the sea views over the private beach. Forest surrounds it, and the setting is peaceful, immersed in nature. The food was delicious, beautifully presented, made with fresh ingredients, and there was plenty of choice. The warm, helpful staff greeted us on arrival and kept smiling throughout our stay. We also loved the wildlife at Playa Encantada. The dogs and cats seem to have the best life, and you might even see sea turtles. I’ve left plenty out, but the place really is magical. We’d LOVE to go again.

We spent a week unwinding and connecting with the ocean at this beautiful hideaway, and it was a joy to be there. The animals all live freely and in harmony, from dogs and cats to piggies, Bella the cow, ducks, and goats. They’re so loved by the owners and their family. We were really happy with the organic vegetarian food served each day, prepared with care and delicious. Thank you so much, Rochelle & Alberto 🙏💜🙏

Getting here is difficult because the place is remote and the road is rough, with a walk needed for the last part. That was fine, but the prices felt insane. We paid over 4 euro for a banana shake, and it was a really small glass.

This is the most beautiful resort we’ve ever visited. If you want to relax, it’s perfect. The food is so delicious. Five stars from me.
