Summer Wind Pension House El Nido

We spent four nights here, a short walk from the center of El Nido. The rooms have air conditioning, and there's an outdoor area with a mountain view. What more could you ask for?

The room was quiet, the mattress comfortable, and everything was clean and tidy. The shower was spacious, with a good showerhead and hot water. The air conditioning was powerful and almost silent, and the staff were friendly, though they don't speak English. A few issues became clear over time. The Wi-Fi was slow and sometimes unavailable. In our double room, a large window extended into the bathroom, and there was a gap in the wall around it. So if you air out the bathroom, cockroaches or mosquitoes could theoretically get into the bedroom. You have to air it out because there's no bathroom ventilation. On day three I asked the cleaning lady to clean our room, since the bin was overflowing and three days without cleaning felt like enough. She said yes, but it wasn't cleaned. I don't think she understood.
