We picked this place because it was the cheapest option, though it was still pricey. I do not recommend staying here. The service was terrible. We waited half an hour, then were put in a temporary room with bad AC, and after that sent to a bad fan room. At night it was full of insects. There were only three loose power outlets, so charging our things was difficult. Luckily we had power banks. Reception barely worked in the room, and Wi-Fi was only available in the common area. The bathroom was tiny, had dirty water, and the door wouldn't even close. It was a disgusting, nasty place to stay.

My brother and I originally booked two nights in the dorm, but ended up staying four because of the great service, nice location, and warm-hearted people. After we had a motorbike accident, the people working there helped us a lot with First Aid ⛑️, and gave us good advice and care. We could cook and prepare meals in the front yard. Luckily, my roommates followed the house rules, so everything went smoothly and I slept well. We left some of our things there after checking out, and the people kindly helped keep them for us. 💜 💤 🙏

The location was good, no more than a 10-minute walk from the main streets in el Nido, and check-in and check-out were very easy. There were small lockers available, though you need to bring your own padlock. After eight months of travelling, this is the worst hostel I've ever stayed in. Everything was broken and dirty. The rooms, toilets, and showers were all filthy, and there were cockroaches in the showers. The drains wouldn't clear, so a puddle of hair and dirt quickly formed on the floor. The water stopped working for hours. They told us the tank was empty, but it stopped again the next morning. With so many people staying at the hostel, how could they let the tank run out twice so close together? Wi-Fi only worked at reception, not in the rooms. Horrible.

When we first arrived, they couldn't find our booking. Since it was too early to check in, we came back later, but they still hadn't worked out which room was ours, so we waited about 20 minutes. They finally gave us a room, and I asked twice if it was definitely ours because we were tired and sweaty and just wanted to shower and rest. Another 20 minutes later, we had to move because apparently we'd booked a fan room, not one with AC. The fan room itself wasn't the problem, as we'd stayed in plenty before and knew what to expect. The issue was the unprofessional service and missing Wi-Fi, which was the main reason we'd booked the hostel and something we specifically paid for. Wi-Fi was only in the common area, and booking.com hadn't mentioned that. In the room there was barely any signal, disgusting water from the shower and sink, curtains that fell down, a broken key, and an outlet that didn't work properly. The pool was empty during our stay. We decided to stay somewhere else the next day.

It's a good location, no more than a 10-minute walk to the main streets in el Nido, and check-in and checkout were easy. They provide small lockers, but you'll need your own padlock. The beds were comfortable, though they had no curtains. The rooms weren't great, and the toilets were the worst part. The dorm toilet had no water, and the sink was blocked and dirty. The showers outside the dorms were very unclean, and their doors wouldn't close.
