The staff were friendly and helpful, and the free coffee helped earn this place four stars from me. The rooms vary quite a bit, though. We spent two nights in a spacious room with air conditioning and a hot shower, then four in a cheaper, smaller room with only a cold shower. I’d pay extra for the better room.

There’s a pleasant lawn outside with chairs, and the staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are modest, though, and there’s no shower curtain, so the toilet gets wet when you shower. The house is a little outside El Nido town but still walkable down the hill. You get what you pay for. There’s no phone signal indoors, so you have to go outside to get reception.
