Casa Luna Siargao

The staff are some of the friendliest I’ve met, and they welcomed everyone like friends. Mi Casa is budget-friendly, with basic rooms and a nice lounge area to relax in during the day. The location is brilliant, within walking distance of cloud 9 and lots of bars and restaurants. I’d been staying in rucksack, but they were fully booked, so I had to move here. I wish I’d stayed at Mi Casa the whole time I was in Siargao.

I haven’t even stayed at Mi Casa Suites yet, but already feel welcomed like family and am looking forward to visiting. As a Reiki Master, I can’t always sense a place’s energy from afar, but something about Mi Casa Suites already feels warm, peaceful, and aligned, as if its energy is gently calling me in. I contacted the hotel ahead of my stay to check what I needed to travel with my service dog, Charlie. They gave me the information I needed, and Sally went above and beyond by offering to watch Charlie for free if I had something to do. That thoughtfulness is rare. Of course, it wouldn’t be necessary, since I always compensate people for their time and I’m an excellent tipper, but the offer alone showed how caring she is. I was also told the owner is kind and humble, and looks after stray dogs around the island. That says a lot about the heart and spirit behind the place.

The staff are lovely and treat you like part of the family. The hostel has new management now, and I love it here. I’ll come back.

It’s one of the cheapest options, and really good value for the money. The owner welcomes you like family, and the staff are lovely. The place is tucked away and peaceful, so you can’t hear a thing. There’s a beach for surfing just across the street, and the town center is only a few minutes away. It isn’t the most luxurious, but it’s one of the most comfortable hostels I’ve stayed in on Siargao. It feels spacious, almost like it’s all yours. I highly recommend it for backpackers!
