Muni-muni Villas Siargao

It's a quiet, pleasant place, and the staff were kind, helpful, and accommodating. The WiFi worked well, and there was good pressure and hot water at both the shower and sink. They use filtered water for bathing from their own well and double-filtered drinking water. When the regular brownouts happen, a backup generator keeps things running. The hotel prefers Agoda ratings, but I booked with American Airlines miles, so this is where I can leave my review. The miles rate was great. Highly recommend.

The breakfast was amazing, and the location worked perfectly for being near a surfing spot. With a motorbike, it was easy to get around and get away from the noise on the main road. Mark and Jessa at the front desk and Anjelika at breakfast were wonderful. Staying at munimuni made our Siargao trip feel perfect, and it was the highlight of our honeymoon. We loved it so much that we left and then came back.

We were greeted with welcome drinks, and the team were so friendly and helpful. The hotel is a really pleasant place, and the breakfast was excellent. We enjoyed our stay a lot.

For what this place charges, the room shouldn't smell of mold. The cushions were moldy and smelled, the aircon gave off a mold odor when switched on, and the door slides were partly covered in mold, though staff thought it was dirt. They don't seem to have been trained by the manager on this. There's no dehumidifier, and the aircons seem to get professionally cleaned every 3-6 months, perhaps. The property isn't being maintained properly. Owners and the responsible manager, train your staff, bring in dehumidifiers, have professionals deep-clean the aircons, replace the bed cushions, and make sure the door slides keep outside air from coming in so freely.
