The thoughtful touches made the stay feel easy, including the cute beach bag and towel they provided. The beach is an easy walk away, and the staff were warm, attentive, and efficient from start to finish. My room was cozy and carefully designed, with a lovely bathroom and soft lighting that created just the right mood. Service was quick and seamless, and you can tell they put real care into making guests comfortable. I'd absolutely stay here again.

Everything was peaceful and well kept, from the room and gardens to the swimming pool. The hotel also had paddle boards guests could use at no cost, and you could book in-room massages. Cloud 9's surfing area is nearby. There are plenty of places to eat and drink a short tuk tuk ride away for £1.24 (100 pesos). Breakfast was amazing, and the views were stunning. The staff were helpful, polite, and quick to respond to messages and questions. I can't think of anything negative about our stay.

The Village was a great fit for me because I’m very sensitive to noise and wanted somewhere calm outside GL. The staff were incredible and really went out of their way to make the stay memorable. The rooms were great, and the price felt fair for what you get. GL’s busy areas are only about 10 minutes away, too. If you’re unsure where to stay, you can trust that they’ll look after you.

Our trip got off to a stressful start when a typhoon cancelled our flights. We couldn’t reach The Village Siargao Resort on the booked date, and since we hadn’t booked directly, we understood a refund wasn’t possible. When we arrived the following day, though, the resort welcomed us with a free shuttle, a massage, food and refreshing drinks. They also gave us a free ride back to the airport, which we really appreciated. The villas feel private and homey, and the resort is peaceful and cozy. We loved having breakfast with a lovely beach view in the morning. The staff were attentive, respectful and very friendly, which made the stay comfortable and turned around what had been a rough start. Highly recommended!

We had to cancel our trip because of unexpected medical problems, and supplied official certificates from both the doctor and hospital confirming we couldn’t travel. We were a little beyond the standard two-week cancellation window, but hoped the circumstances might be taken into account. Our other five booked destinations accepted the medical documents and let us cancel without a problem. We understand there are policies, but a bit of flexibility for a verified medical emergency would have been greatly appreciated. So, make sure you don’t have a medical emergency before your trip.
