The hostel shop has the basic things you might need, and the room was spotless with good air conditioning. Helpful service and a great location, too.

The location is the only real plus. Our private room was so cramped we couldn't stand up, and it was basically a mattress on the floor. With no AC or ventilation, it was pretty unbearable. There was just one shower and toilet for the entire hostel, and construction next door started around 6am, if you managed to fall asleep.

The crew were somewhat helpful and accommodating, though they didn't smile. We had a fan in a wooden room and a shared bathroom outside, so noise carries through. Summer would be hot there. We didn't try the food.

We only found out after reaching siargao that our booking had been changed and we'd been moved to another place. They hadn't told us beforehand, and we were speechless when they gave us the excuse that the original was double booked. Really poor service. I wouldn't recommend it.

The room was okay for two people on a budget, and it's close to restaurants and bars. The AC seems to need cleaning, I think, since it struggles to cool the room. There's only one little table, so some hooks or another small table would help.
