We spent all of Christmas at Aggehanan Beach Resort, and the host and family made it feel like home. The warm welcome made the whole stay special, and we loved our time there. Get up early for the sunrise over the beach. The view is breathtaking from this easternmost part of the Philippines. One of our best vacation stays in Siargao, and we'd happily recommend it.

The owners and staff were always kind and ready to help, which made us feel looked after. We could choose to add breakfast to suit our preferences, and it was fresh and tasty. The resort felt warm and welcoming from the start, so it was easy to settle in and enjoy our stay. We'd definitely return.

This was one of the worst travel experiences I've had in over 30 years of international trips. The photos are seriously misleading, and the service was awful. Just the worst-case scenario.

We only stayed one night at Aggehannan, but the owners made things easy from the outset. They arranged a taxi to the airport that could carry our 9ft surboards. The room was clean and comfortable for a very reasonable price, and I loved having both a sheet and a duvet, which is unusual in the Phillipines. At short notice they also let us check in early, so we didn't have to lug our bags around, and we could wait down by the beach while they got the room ready.
