I tried this budget hotel again six years after a disappointing stay in 2013, and regretted giving it another chance. The location is good and the rates are reasonable, but customer service was awful apart from the attentive, helpful security guards, and the rooms aren’t well maintained. The shower in my room didn’t work. No one told me in advance that breakfast was only available from 7-9am, which isn’t a standard hotel breakfast time. After I complained to the front desk, they eventually gave me takeaway breakfast in my own lunch box. Then I found strands of human hair on the luncheon meat. I don’t know if they were put there on purpose or in retaliation for my complaint, but that was the last straw. I won’t stay here again or recommend it to family and friends.

There are lots of inasal places, a barber shop, and another food and drink store downstairs, and it’s next to the BIR. The location is good, and the room costs a moderate amount, a little over a thousand a night. The bed and bathroom are a bit old, but I still came away with a positive impression.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and luckily the aircon worked. Still, for what we paid, the room felt worn and old. There was no fridge, the TV was an old tube set, and the shower looked dirty, with a head clogged by chalk from poor cleaning. We had two beds with different pillows, one nice and one as hard as a brick. Breakfast was another disappointment: just three local Filipino dishes to choose from, with only coffee or water to drink. Most guests seemed to bring their own food. It’s a budget hotel, but I’d suggest paying a little more for somewhere much better.

Decent and easy on the budget. The amenities are old but still work, except for the TV remote. Be ready to wait and check your plated breakfast order, since they sometimes mix it up with another guest’s.

The breakfast arrived cold. The aircon sounds about a decade old, buzzes so much I couldn’t sleep well, and barely cools the whole room. The TV should be replaced with an LED or Smart TV, and the channels don’t come in clearly.
