The restaurant is cozy and works well for groups, with a good range of Filipino food like pork, seafood and shrimp, chicken, and beef, plus Swiss deli products. Try the Sausage Platter. The staff are friendly, though it can be difficult to get their attention to order or ask for the bill when you’re seated outside and they’re inside. 4/5.

The free breakfast was what I looked forward to each morning. They serve authentic Filipino food, which I’d missed after living abroad for years. Staff were respectful and easy to approach whenever I needed something, like extra towels. The price felt fair for the amenities, and the location works for solo travelers, families, or business meetings. Best place to stay in Gensan for me. I’d gladly return on my next trip to the Philippines.

The rooms are very affordable and still quite decent. Front desk staff were courteous and helpful, and the service was excellent. WiFi was fast, including at the coffee shop, where they serve some of Gensan’s best prepared local cuisine. There’s ample parking too.

The rooms are clean and cheap, and I had a comfortable stay. We weren’t told at check-in that breakfast was free until 10 a.m., and the WiFi wasn’t working at the time.
