The Crown Residences at Harbour Springs

We liked the calm, laid-back province feel here, even though it’s still conveniently in the city. For our four days and three nights, the price seemed reasonable for the service and facilities. The interns were approachable, accommodating, and eager to help, which made the experience feel personal. Staff and security were responsive and polite, always ready to assist warmly. The amenities stayed clean and well maintained too. We’d recommend Crown Harbour Springs in Puerto Princesa for its comfort, value, and hospitality.

We ordered the overload pizza and waited an hour for it. The amusing part was that the server from Soto Grande brought it over, which explained the long trip it had to make. We’d come a couple of months earlier for a swim in the large pools. I loved how secluded it felt, with nobody else using the pool or passing by. It was so quiet that when we needed anything, we had to take the elevator up to the front desk.

The rooms were nice, and one of the pools was heated, which we liked. The restaurant needed a lot of work, though the staff there were very nice. I left feeling I couldn’t trust the reception. The tour they booked for us cost more than the menu price, with no explanation: it showed 2350 PHP, but reception charged 2700 PHP, while another guest on the tour paid 2500 PHP. At checkout, the receptionist asked whether I’d gotten a receipt for my deposit. I hadn’t, because I trusted her, and we had to raise our voices to get the deposit back. I felt she was trying to keep it. My trust is broken.

The restaurant team were especially good, and Jeric and his staff deserve a thank you for the lovely service. The rest of the hotel staff were excellent too, and the pool was exceptional.
