A clean room, homey feel, friendly staff who were doing their best, and parking were the good parts. It's also close to STAR Tollway. Be ready to pay cash, since they don't take credit cards. It was very inconvenient to be asked to go back toward the main roads late at night to withdraw from a bank. Don't expect much in the way of amenities. I had to ask for slippers and where the soap was. There are no nearby food places except small restos, so bring food ahead or hope you can get delivery from an establishment. No Grab or Food Panda out here in the province. You get what you pay for, nothing fancy. It was fine for sleeping before leaving the next day, but I won't return.

It's good to have a decent place to stay right in Ibaan, so there's no need to head to one of the nearby cities.

By my second day, hardly anything was going right. The TV mostly doesn't work, and when it does, there's just one channel, GMA. The staff haven't been very friendly and don't seem keen to talk with a foreigner who speaks only English. I managed to get coffee this morning, but it took a lot of effort. There's no WiFi, and you have to leave the hotel to get data reception. The flies and mosquitoes are normal for the countryside, but apart from that, I don't think this place is worth visiting.

Getting there is the downside. It's far from shops and places to eat, so having a personal car is necessary, as commuting is difficult. Still, the place was clean and more affordable than a standard hotel in Batangas, and the staff were friendly. It was a good experience.

We booked late, but the accommodating receptionist still helped us. The place felt safe, with security guards, and our room was very clean. For three adults, we got three beds, good air conditioning, a clean bathroom, WiFi, TV, and a heater. An overnight stay includes free breakfast. We ordered pork tapa, which tasted good with barako coffee. I highly recommend The Greenhive Hotel.
