The staff were very kind and helpful, and it’s not too far from the walking street. The hotel itself is nothing special, more like a 3rd country hotel. If you’re staying a long time, ask about the long-stay tariff. You won’t get room service, but the price is outstandingly low.

There’s been a blackout for over five hours and counting, and without a generator there are no lights, power, or AC. The staff haven’t been customer-friendly or willing to help with guests’ concerns. On the way to the pool last night, I crossed paths with a huge rat because the pool is reached through a back alley. The rooms also don’t match their online descriptions. There’s no warm water, and the water heaters seem to be there just for show. The rooms don’t have TVs, even though they’re advertised. Room quality is very poor, and the bathrooms are dirty, mouldy, and unhygienic. I can’t give zero stars, though that’s what this “hotel” deserves. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone, ever.

For the price, you can find better rooms nearby close to restaurants and bars. This one is functional enough if you’re not picky. The aircon kept the room cool in the sweltering heat, the water pressure was sufficient, and the smart TV worked. The bed was hard, there was no blanket, and there were mozzies in the room. The toilet flush wasn’t working well.

The room had Wi-Fi, but you need to ask reception for the password and first figure out which network is meant for your room, since they don’t know. They provide toiletries, and you can get free water in the lobby. The AC worked, though it was a bit loud and old. The room smelled musty, and the bathroom wasn’t well maintained. The toilet flush was broken, but at least the water heater worked. Typical budget motel.
